Gonna replace my disc's (front)
Currently running full-floating cast iron jobbies - and am thinking of changing to the Wavey type's.
If I were to do this change - would I get an improvement in performance, or loss?
Rattler will be along in a minute to tell you .... if not, send him an email ...

....they are lighter, so less rotational weight, turn in quicker etc.....
....they dissipate heat quicker, hence will work better at normal higher temps levels....
....they are more efficient as they "clean" the brake pads as they operate, but wear out pads quicker....
...they look the dog's danglies!!...IMHO
So are they better, yes, will you notice? Perhaps, depends how hard you ride.
Are they worth it - yes!
These are the theories, I changed disks, calipers and wheels at the same time, so could not be certain how much difference these made.
I keep the standard disks on the standard wheels for wet tyres etc...
I've also got one on the back to keep the look the same.
Guido has also fitted Waveys - he may know more, drop him a U2U.

Unless he has a lap top he cant answer yet as he went off last weekend the jammy sod.
I know he thinks they are great but he will probably post on it when he gets back.

Thanks guys - next question is, how much should I ask for if I decide to sell my cast iron floaters?
