View Full Version : Something for free, you just need to know what it is..
I've been sorting through the bike bits chest tonight and have decided to get rid of any surplus 7xx & 9xx series parts.
Up for grabs to start with is this item, nothing to pay.
first correct answer gets it, and the answer has to be spot on.
clues are:
they are a made from billet, weight close to nothing. and are 0-3 dergrees, and are a big improvement over the duke standard item.
sorry pics would make it to easy peeps.
let see who get it's from those clues.
they cost just under £200 last year, and are still same price now.
something decent for nothing, that can't be bad
cheers

aswell as the proprietor of the principle racing team in the states.
or page 214 paragraph 2, in the ducati officall racing history book.

I have no problem at all mate with Keefer taking the prize...or perhaps we could split them!
Actually, what is a little quirky is I cracked one of my standard ones when I was messing about recently...and have just been riding around with one bolt in place!
It was just a bit of fun that became very annoying!
hang on a mo is it bar raisers then cuz if not i have been robed

What about left hand to harv and right to keefer.
They are ally bar raiser by FBF and not clipons.
To be fair I did ask for clarification on keefers defanition clipons.
If I am wrong please update me, but that is what my receipt from pro-twin calls them, and the catalogue.
There can be only one winner.

FBF 3 deg bar risers, now where have I seen them before, Oh yes I have a set on my 916, fitted them for the trip to the TT as I could hardly reach the standard set up with the tank bag on.
If Keefer has them an he donate his standard ones to Harv
no fair play i said clip-on well done boys.
bar raisers are somthing you put on to make your bike look like a street bike
Great idea skidlids, wow.... two winners then.
hows that sound keefer and harv748
keefer, if OK with harv748 and vice versus, you get the FBF and he gets your standards.
give em to harv mate he needs them more than me.

Keefer I actually prefer the standard ones but i'm to lazy to change them back. The wider bars fitted to mine are a better mod.
Skidlid, how tall are you mate.
I'm 6.3 and they did make quite a big improvment on my SPS.
Also work well in conjunction with different rearsets.
I think rider height is an important factor with both these items.

A fair bit shorter than you Red and also a fair bit shorter than Keefer. obviously I have shorter arma which is why I need the 3deg change to help me reach around the tank bag.
I run Harris rearsets on my bike.
