BSAU straps.

I've seen these replacement BSAU stamped can straps on e-bay. Has anyone had any "experience" with these as my current straps say not for road use, which is a bit of a give away. As you may have guessed, got a rectification notice the other day, what a pain...waiting in line at the local shop with documents in hand.....
