JHP (John Hackett Performance) otherwise known as Ducati Coventry, as you guessed Coventry, although John's dyno is back at the lodge. Tel:- 02476 335300 |
Try some of the other maps for 748R on the Power Comander site, you might find they suit your bike's set up |

Hi Tony He sure is, will charge me a nominal fee to swap over a part worn for the rolling road time then put my Diablo back on. Anyone got any recommendatios for tuners in London/Surrey/Middlesex areas cheers Derek |
I dont think the amount of time your bike need to spend on a dyno warrants all the wheel/tyre swapping. Your probably talking 3-4 power runs. I would suggest that will do less harm than your trip to the pub. |
3 or 4 power runs? It's more than that for a proper map with part throttle mapping etc. You're looking at 3 hours on the dyno, so I would get a part worn tyre :) |
Your avving a laugh. Bog std749 with just a termi..........something a reputable dyno operator has done a million times..........3-4 runs max. |
3 or 4 runs to do mapping at 5% throttle intervals? I think you're the one having a giraffe mate! Even if they've done a similar thing before, every bike is different. They may well have starting point, but it will need tweaking. |
:lol::lol::lol: |
Utter *rap. If you want to spend 3 hours on a dyno repeating what hes done so often then you pay the money thats your option. :lol: Have you had your bike done then? Ask them that have had it dynoed. Ask them what happened. Ask the result. By all means if you have an 1100cc big cammed ported big valved singing and dancing hybrid, go for it. Mickey mouse std 749 999? that all thats needed to get it right. |
Fair enough - just going by what I'd heard/read... |
