Have had both charcoal and gas bbq's and found both to be a waste of effort. I now have a huge George Foreman grill and have found it to be better. I know you need an electric supply. Comet currently have them on offer http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/417_825002.html |
What is the power rating of these, can they be run off a Genny? |

:o :o Blasphemer!!!!! I'm not a fan of charcoal bbq's because they take ages to sort out etc. With gas your heat is almost instant and you have finer control over the heat for whatever you happen to be cooking. Much more flexible. If I was buying now I'd get one of these: http://www.flamingbarbecues.co.uk/4-...rner-With-Hood ![]() This way you've got the flat plate so you can do eggs - crucial for bbq'd bacon and eggs in the morning. You can also do things like singapore noodles! Ahh, does it get any better?! :D [Edited on 13-5-2006 by TP] |
getv an old oil barrel, cut it in half, drill a load of holes in the bottom bit a mesh top bannana |
Nat, I'll keep an eye out for the mushroom cloud explosion, will then grab rugrat/missus and a pack of sausages... will oversee the cooking, don't fancy food poisoning..;) |
