Although my 999S frame number was in the target zone, I have a Toyo oil cooler already, so no replacement required! This was confirmed by the dealer today.
Yippee!

Hi

I know there are a few threads about this, but just a heads-up, after my experience...

1) Don't assume "no letter from Ducati" means your bike is ok. I called Ducati a while back, as I didn't get a letter but wanted to be sure. Turns out they didn't know I was the owner of that bike (my dealer hadn't properly registered the bike with my details. ).

I then received a letter from them to get it checked. (it's at the dealer now...)

2) It's not just 999 that are being recalled - 749 are effected too.

Definately worth getting it checked....it'll only end in tears and probably a hospital visit if it does leak while you're out one day...

Marco
