such a terrible tragedy on an enjoyable day out. I spotted the news on the BBC website and immediately felt sad for all those involved.

My best wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured.

Sad, sad news, just reminds me that we are all mortal, but just never seems 'fair' somehow.

My condolances to all concerned.

Not much else I can add, my thoughts with everyone impacted by this.

I have read the forum with regard to the death of the two motorcyclists and two seriously injured on the A272 Midhurst on Sunday morning (18/06/06). I was a member of the emergency services that attended the crash. It was in my 27 years experience one of the worst that I have attended. I am not a motorcyclist, and do not wish to register on your site, but I do want to appeal to all motorcyclists, especially on the A272 to please reduce your speed and remember, the double white lines are there for a reason.
