she had a good amount of top hp, but the mid range was pants - worse than std.

There are still 2 or 3 that we know of that will be popping more - and possibly more we dont even know of too, as no-one has had a list of riders yet.

Anyhow - its not the 'top hp' that is the be all & end all - its the rider & mid range that will carry things off, so AK says.

heard from the guys that dynoed it. but quite right about the other bikes. mines never been done.
but yes as AK says mid range is where its at.

Dickie, you muppet - AK dynoed it himself, when Mark had the dyno free one evening, there wasnt anyone else there :lol::lol::lol: (not even Mark!)

i think you'll find it had been done before by its previous owner.

Midrange is key..and a big fat torque curve..........so is good top end..lol

But

its all redundant unless you can ride the bike....you can have all the power you want but you still gotta be able to use it........

He's Back :D Safe and sound :D and a respectable 50.54 with 39.3 torque.

Cant be bad, 26k miles, then a years racing and it's done him some good it seems :puzzled:

I suppose i'd better get some practice in now to do him justice :o

Dessie is currently residing in a rather swish race shop awaiting a leakdown,compression,valve clearances, full check up and then he's being whisked to Tim Radleys for setup next week hun.
By the way - we'll need some decible killers for Dessie if you see any on your travels :o Blimey he's loud!

Dessie is currently being fettled a little (valve clearances and a tidy up / check over) by Kev Tompkin in Leicester, he's going to drop it down to Tim for a dyno setup once he's done, should be sorted within a week.
Still on the hunt for fork springs though, K-tech don't do any to suit. What's everyone else using, M600 / marzochi forks?

I had one of the later engines that the kits didn't fit Antonye so decided against any of the more expensive options that were open to me.
