Ducati 1199 Panigale Suspension Recall - June 2012
 
Recall Summary
Ducati 1199 Panigale rear suspension may collapse.

Recall Issue
Ducati has found that an incorrect fixing screw retaining the swing arm to the rear suspension linkage has been fitted to some 1199 Panigales. The incorrect fixing screw could fail resulting in the rear suspension collapsing and the rider losing control of the machine.
Ducati is recalling the affected 1199 Panigales to check and, where necessary, replace the screw retaining the swing arm to the rear suspension.

Ducati 1199 Panigales Affected By This Recall
There are 857 Ducati 1199 Panigales affected by this recall. They were built between January 2011 and June 2012 and have VINs in the range - ZDM14BPW4CB000448 to ZDMH800ABCB004088.

If you have, or believe you may have, one of the affected Ducati 1199 Panigales then please contact your local dealer.

Some are recalls, others are service updates.

This is the latest recall (note, it's June 2012!) on the VOSA database, but we keep an eye and post as soon as they appear.
