Where to find bike and rider stuff not expensive in UK ?

Hi,

I have been living in the UK since a few months, so I am not used to buy stuff for me or my bike (helmet, gloves, tyres, DOT, etc...) in your country. If some of you know, in France we've got some shops like "Dafy Moto" or "Moto Expert" all around the country which provide very good stuff for cheap (you won't find there some Termi but for "adaptable" spare parts they're ok).

I ask this because I will need to buy a stand (because I am not sure of the word, a link could help ==> http://www.alpdiffusion.com/images/p...-moto/lm01.jpg) for my bike. Could anyone tell me where are the best prices for this in England ? Can I order this on the web ?

Thanks by advance,

Tonio (I live near Crawley)

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk or try Infinity Motorcycles not sure of their website but should be one near u. U should have been at Ally Pally really - lots of bargains on that sort of stuff.

Double sided swingarm one for the Monster shouldn't be more than 25 - 30 quid or so.

Are you French? All credit to you for posting. I read the entire post in a french accent!
:lol::lol::lol:

It's quite funny to read the excellent attempt at our language. So much better than i could write in French, German, Spanish or Portuguese, all of which I've studied by wouldn't dare try to use in public forums. :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Thanks all for your URLs...
Finally I bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=7952878359

But I keep all these links for the time I will have to buy something new...

Redruth> Yes at the beginning it's very difficult, because you don't dare to write (or speak)... but with the time you know you have no other choice if you want to communicate... :lol:

Well done. And a bargain to boot (that just means 'as well')

Keep posting. Let us know what you are buying on e-bay. Actually, let us know really early on, so we can outbid you :lol::lol::lol:

Yes, because I bought it for less than I could in France (thing really unusual), I think it's a good deal...

Very good, but there are 2 "s" in "essayez" and in "réussirez" ;)
