A little help needed Would any 888 owners be kind enough to take some pictures of the cable, brake, clucth, trottle and choke cable packaging/routing. I have put some new clip ons and new aeroquip lines and it all seem to be binding a little. Also some full lock pics would be useful. Maybe I have too much lock as well. My email address is robarks@btopenworld.com Many thanks. Rob |
I remember in one maintenance manual for a different bike that a cable routing guide was enclosed. Dont know if you get these with any of the 888 manuals :D |
Frank, You do, but it's not as handy as a pic, especially as the Brembo radial master cyl, exits the pipes in a different way etc. etc. Rgds, Rob |
Rob, My bike is with KAIS at the moment having the suspension sorted, I get it back on Monday or Tuesday night. If you are not sorted by then I will get some photos over to you. Sorry I can not help sooner. All the best Simon |
Hi Rob I'm not sure if these will help much, as I couldn't really get at the bike where it's parked in my sister's garage. Really, you'll need photos with the fairing removed I think. I've taken a dozen pics - but I'm not sure what angle/viewpoint you're after. Can you be specific? Steve |
I want to know where the dirt is? I won't be sending any pics until I steam clean my bike now.... ;) |
Guys, Many thanks. Steve, Nice pic of the SP, wana mail me a high res version. Rgds, Rob |
Rob, if you can wait until tomorrow,i can do you some pics of the routing i've taken with my radial master cylinders. |
Jasper, That's grand. I have ended up going around the back of the L/H fork leg. It makes a much nicer route for the aeroquip and stops it bunching when you go on to left lock. I'd be interested to see what yours looks like. Rgds, Rob |
No probs.I'll do it tomorrow. |
