... I'm sorry I didn't have time to translate it for the moment, but maybe some French readers could understand it.

Babel Fish Translation - Probably a terrible translation, but here goes...

And one moreover... Yesterday I etais has Castle Combe for one day of track on the circuit or take place my 2 next races. And I went back one from there. I want to say a shovel, a waffle, etc... I am same flock, vautre, repandu. Finally I have fall what. Y' has anything has to make, y' does not have a way of saying it which less badly makes me with the bijous of family (to remain polished) that another. I am still seeking the reason of my fall, to try to include/understand. I do not think of having made a fault particuliere, but I imagine that one must always say Ca after a fall... It etait to me second session of the day (one turned by session of 12mn, I have to make 2 of them the morning and the 4 afternoons), I had already buckle 4 or 5 turns without problem (I always take care to heat my tires on 2 or 3 turns) and I do not accelerais my rate/rhythm particularly. I am in the straight line of the stands, I assemble all the reports/ratios until A to reach my maximum speed. Speed that I try to preserve until A Avon Rise or I start has decelerer for preparer Quarry Corner (the turn piege of the circuit bus in towards and kind A to reduce its speed largely), I do not arrive too quickly, I decale a little on the left for not the negocier too has the interior in entree, I start my turn, leans the motor bike, leave the knee (not not to lean too much either, Ca enables me to keep margin) and lets me relate to a thread of gas. And then craaaaac! pilot by ground, motor bike by ground, one slips on ten meter to finish the buttocks in grass (yes like Ca Ca has the funny air...). In my fall I had time to see all around me, the bitumen of the track, the sky and derrire me: the following pilot is has 20m, it will evitera me without problem (I will have to try to find it to ask to him whether it had included/understood what etait to me arrives). And veiled. Once more (2nd in 3 circuits), I put myself there. But pourauoi? No idee. I think that my motor bike should not have a rather important ground clearance, because it is not rare that the shoe (in its lower part...) rubs the track in curve. I think that a part of the motor bike has to cling has a asperite track, kind toe-clips in a small hole of the tarmac... By there reconsidering this assumption is extremely probable because my right toe-clip (dimension or one A slips) etait completely twisted downwards, which is enough etonnant. It does not matter it east arrives. Damage question nothing serious good: I have break-in a half handlebar and a handbrake lever, which I had in spare parts in the car and which my friends of Ducati Sporting Club (of extraordinary people, do not believe all that one says to you on English...) have replaces for me whereas I still wondered what etait to me arrives. They have me repare my toe-clip twisted with a part of 1 penny (veridic) and rafistoler my carenage with the Scotch tape americain (fortunately I had leave pretty the carenage has the house, as if I had felt to come the thing). Some photographs of repairs: The largest damage is on my leather combination, which same if it is always functional (no hole) appears as new as front. In any case I know that I am really well protege with my combination, my dorsal, my helmet, my boots and my gloves, because in 2 falls (whose weak pace has has Cadwell...) I had least blue, never the least pain. On the other hand this blow my moral in took a blow, Ca made me doubt ego. But I know that my confidence will return quickly, it is enough to a good stopwatch to the qualifications has Castle Combe. And then I will remake the motor bike has nine in a few hours and for a few tens of pounds. Ha yes, it is also necessary that I replace one of my 2 discs of brake, it is veil and Ca me gene really with braking. I cannot slow down as extremely as I will want it. Once again it is not a problem, I have 2 of them in advance, it is enough for me to learn has to change them. And then concerning my combination, I have good grease has leather, one will remake a beauty in 2 times to him 3 movements. In fact all goes well. I pete the form. And in 2 weeks I all will rot them. I do not laugh. And I will not fall.

It may as well have stayed in French for all the sense it made to me!

Chris, here's a brief report for the day.

Noise testing was interesting. A few of us failed, I think fil2 and Ali failed? Tim and Tonio were both on 105db and told they would watched! My bike sounded louder but measured 101.8db! Happy with that, I was getting very worried as we were rolling up to the measuring station. If that's a metre that he's taking those measurements from then I'm about 8 metres tall!

First impressions of the track are that it's BUMPY! In the first two sessions I wasn't even holding it pinned down the straight because I didn't want to find a big bump and get flung off! You can hold it pinned though and wander around a bit - you just have to ride it out and try and focus your vision because it goes a bit blurry! I backed off my rear shock a bit and it made it a lot better.

Over Avon rise into Quarry is also pretty bumpy and it's your braking zone. So you'll be coming in there somewhere in the region of 120mph and braking for a 3rd gear corner over some pretty bumpy stuff - that was interesting! Other than that you seem to be hard on the brakes or the throttle is wide open. Some sections flow together really nicely, like the esses all the way through to Tower and it feels good to be just be changing up and keeping it pinned all the way through there. Tower is faster than it looks and you do that in 4th. Then you've got another chicane and they are all pains in the arse!

The points where most people will make time (or lose it) are into Quarry and Tower where you are braking from maxed out in 5th (mine's a 5 speed) into third gear for quarry and 4th for Tower. In fact for Tower you don't really need to brake that much but I never got it right. I always felt I could go quicker through there. And Quarry. Pretty much everywhere actually!

Hope that helps.
