Le mans 2006 - MotoGP
 

This year I organised a trip for 7 bikes to the MotoGP round at Le Mans. The trip came in at under £400 and included the following:
Overnight Hotel in Portsmouth
Return ferry Portsmouth/Cherbourg
6 days accommodation in a private Gite.
VIP tickets for the MotoGP - shared box over pit lane (Sunday)/catering (Sunday)/Pit Lane walk (Sunday)/secure parking within circuit (Fri/Sat/Sun)/Access to pit lane grandstand (Fri/Sat/Sun)
Hotel in Cherbourg

The trip was Weds to Tues.

Those that went this year are now getting cold feet about a trip in 2006. So I thought I would throw an invite open to the DSC membership to gauge any interest.

I have been offered the use of a mate's Gite near Lucon for £110 for the week. The place has a pool but is about 2.5 hours from Le Mans. The ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo is coming in at around £120. The MotoGP tickets were around £190.

The provisional dates for Le Mans are 19/20/21 May 2006. I need to confirm how many the Gite can accommodate.
