Successfully sourcing suppliers was also part of the role and involved travel to Europe and Asia. With any new products training must be given to both internal and external customers and this was carried out with each product launch.

April 89 to July 97 - CAD Technician - Armitage Venesta Washroom Systems, Stoke on Trent

Working in the CAD department I produced layout drawings to inline with customers requirements to enable manufacture of both cubicles and the IPS system. I attended site meetings as and when required and also conducted site surveys to take dimensions.

Nicks, if you're up for going back to your CAD days, there seems to be plenty of agency work at the mo paying £20+ph

At least that's the case in the south.

Might be worth a speculative letter & CV to Wolseley Centres Ltd in Warwick/Leamington.

They're moving a whole load of their operations down there from North Yorkshire (where my wife worked for nearly 20 years up until recently).

Your bathrooms experience might be of value to them.....they own the Plumb, Pipeline, Builder, Controls Center and HRPC businesses amongst others.

Good luck mate

Sorry to hear about your wife leaving Dumbcenter Guido, Thats the trouble with them, they bring people up from warehouse to trade counter and then to shop manager and out of the door:o Its only been of just recent that they have managed to keep the same personal.

Yeah Jon,

Don't know why I recommended them really. Whole company culture has changed for the worse in the last 5 years.

Not helped that the latest incarnation MD recently publicly slated the quality of staff in the North cos he wants everything (operations wise) down in his neck of the woods. There's uproar in the local rags up here over his comments......

Second thoughts Nicks.....don't go near them!!!!!
