Boots! Hi all, I'm after a bit of advice on some new boots. I had a bit of a moment last year which ended up doing some damage to my foot so I'm being extra careful about boot selection this time! I was wearing a pair of sidi vertebrae boots and these were sliced open on the footrest. I'm looking at the sidi vertico corsa but worried they might have the same weakness. Would the the aplinestars supertech boot be a better choice as it looks more armoured? cheers! |
Daytona Security Evo's - the bast bar none. |
Gaerne G_RS are worth a look. The man in the shop reckoned they were a good altenative to the daytona Evos they sold, I think his exact works were they were "the next best thing if you aren't prepared to pay for the daytonas" :D They had a range of boots in stock including SIDI. The Gaernes are very comfortable but the daft faux carbon effect on the squishy bit isn't very durable. Ray. |
get some motorcross ones you wont feel a thing especialy whan you change gear but you never damage your foot in them |
Give Debi at RiDE magazine a call on 01733 468081 - she'll tell you their Best Buy. |
Daytona Evo Sports GTX. Safe as houses, and comes with Goretex if you want it. I will never buy anything else. http://www.daytona.de/english/boots_e/gore.html |
daytona's are the best :) even the new 'carver' boot which is a fraction of the cost, but still got protection and made with real leather not lorica rubbish! |
