Alacantra - whats it like for a seat covering?
 

Looking to do the seat on the monnie and the bandit in dark alacantra.

What would it last like on a bike thats used everyday, not regularly washed and left out in all weather.

Or should I just go for pvc?

No, it's not gonna last. Apart from anything else you'll get a wet bum if you gonna leave it out in all weathers. Alcantara will not dry out as quickly as PVC where the water just runs off.

Very good, not water proof, but ok in the odd shower.

Had mine done four years ago, still good as new. :)

And your's lives outside in all weathers does it? If so 4 years is damn good going.
