I thank you, sir! It's at Nellys now having a SERIOUS service. Before ripping some bits off the 748(clutch,discs,master cylinders). |
You lucky, lucky guy - everythign looks so good - especially the wheels and the gold fork lowers as well...... But what on earth possessed Ducati to make the shox brace YELLOW!!!! Please change the colour to a proper RED  Enjoy her to the full !!! |

That is one hot bike Jasper (even compared to your 748 that I saw at Nelly's). Now if I can just pursuade Nelly to swap your engine for mine..... |
Very nice Jasper, nice to see another 888 on the forum! |
Jasper, Welcome to the fold, nice looking bike too. Are you planning to take it to the Magameet in August? Rgds, Rob |
Don't know yet mate, see what work is like! |
Very nice mate !!!! Its funny, all my riceburner riding mates thing that suspension arm has been painted coz it looks odd, but I kinda like it !!! I was a little disappointed with my triple after 5 years of 916 ownership, especially as I had to call it a day aftre my third session during its forst track day round silverstone because of appalling brake fade, but now ive fixed that (cast iron discs, radial mc and brembo billets), messed about with the suspension (mainly jacking the back up) it leaves me with a bigger smile than the 916 ever did !! And the 916 didnt used to set car alarms off with open cans.. Just need to fit the magnesium marchesinis now and shell be turning like a goodun...!!!! Welcome back!! Nat |
