My rearsets Thought I`d post a picture of the rearsets I`ve finally managed to fit(after many long hours!).Don`t know what they were originally off,but I can remember a corse one at pro V twins having a carbon brake lever a few years ago. They aren`t much higher or further back than standard footrests, but I couldn`t get my head around rubber footrests on a sports bike.If anyone knows what they were originally fitted too I`d be interested. There is no place for a brakelight switch,so I presume they are off a race bike or from a performance catalogue. |
You spawny get Sparkin !!! They are as near as dammit the same as the customer 888 'Racing' bikes..carbon plate with carbon lever and knurled footrest..may be genuine, may be a copy but who cares?? They look the dogs !!!! Where did you pick those up from and how much mate ?? If youve got an original 888 brochure have a look..if not ill take a pic if you like. Cheers Nat |
Thats a bit harsh mate:lol:,looking at the knurling pattern on the original pegs(the ones on the bike now are copies I had made because the originals were a bit tired, that`d been used to prop the bike up on axle stands)I beleive them to be genuine Ducati, but wasn`t sure which bike.I`m not telling anyone how much I paid for them `cause I`ll start getting hate mail! The only thing I had to change was the gear lever length,my foot kept hitting the fairing.I`ve just been offered a SP5 full exhaust system(carbon Termi high rise),I currently have high level carbon Termi slip -ons,this SP5 system, how much would it be worth?I will see it today, but I think it is brand new.If I got them how much could I expect to get for my slip-ons? |
replied via the 851/888 e-mail circular bud ref; SP5 system.. Nat |
Very nice. Now take them off and let me put them on my SP5 where they should be!:D |
