There's a set of Ohlins fork bottoms on Ebay at the mo'; anyone know if they can be fitted to Showas? Wouldn't be a complete pose as my Showas have Ohlins internals.

Darren's right, the monster offset is around 5mm farther forward than the ss. You would have to fit bottom and top yoke from a monster. Makes the steering even slower!:)

Certainly fit regarding bearings, headstock, nut etc. I'd be suprised if the wires weren't long enough. I think clearance would be the only issue (or not, in your case).

It's not too difficult with a Dremel and a steady hand; lay masking tape so the edge follows the line you want to take. Still, you could probably get a tank- and key-guard for the price of the DP...

Unbolting the tank is probably the easiest, it only needs to move slightly to fit the guard. You may find the ignition barrel scrapes against it; I put a piece of stick-on carbon to protect it.
