| Thanks guys, I was beginning to lose heart! My computer has now started to lock up when offline as well. I'm using quite a new virus checker & nothing shows up. I've recently cleaned out a load of crap from the hard drive which has quickened things up, but to be honest the pc is getting on a bit and needs replacing.
