| It's hard to say what exactly happened, as we both didn't actually see it, but the road past my house is notorious for speeders, as the road leads out to a country road/national speed limit.
When I got home last night the surrounding lamp posts had flowers etc attached, what remains to be established will be the root cause, whether the bike was speeding or not, but I guess from the way things looked the driver of the car was turning across the road, so I assume some blame will fall on them, I am merely speculating.
I wish his family well, and hope his death will cause some changes to the roads near me, as he is just one in quite a long line who have either died or suffered serious injury there since I've lived there. |
