| Just a word from the land of electronic gadgets. The big thing here now is HDD-DVD recorders. Biggest is now 400 GB with varying formats depending on the maker. Most of the stuff here is mainstream Japanese with a smattering of Korean and Philips, but the major Nip makers are really pumping out new stuff all the time. Most of it is now becoming digital Hi Def. Personally, I wpould stick with major brands as, even though they have problems, they have a much better track record and support system than off-brand stuff. Why come home and find the recording you so painfully set up for when you were away at work just ended up eating your disk. |
