Today I tried to ontain a quote from Footman James to insure my Jota and 998s under one policy.

During the normal question answering bit over the phone I was asked if I belonged to any club to which I replied yes, the Ducati Sporting Club, I was then told that the premuim was £367 which was acceptable and they would fax me over the necessary forms to complete and fax back to them.
When they arrived all was well except that the club was down as the Ducati owners club and that I would also have to have written confirmation from a member of the club management team as the value of the bike.

I Rang them back to point out the error relating to the club only to be told that they did recognise the Ducati Sporting club and would not insure me!

So its back to Carrol Nash at £457.


What could be done so that they recognise our club?
