| It can stop rotating, 'specially if it's a slipper or aftermarket item that isn't "toothed" to the drum.
However, it should slow fairly gradually. If it doesn't, check the bearing in the pressure plate is OK. If it's tight, then the cap could be rubbing on the pushrod or worse still spinning the pushrod in the slave cylinder. |
