They're all the same when you're racing.......gas it a millisecond before the red lights go out, brake a millisecond after everyone else, get round the corner, get on the gas a millisecond before the others...repeat until chequered flag.....job done

The Superbike Mag video that Steve Plater did was good if you want a very top line explanation of a very quick lap. I've found a few laps done by people on the web before and MCN guide is ok of you're into studying things like that. Play Station for Donny. Unfortunately there is no sub for being on the track - get yourself on some early track days, there's plenty of time to do one of each circuit before the start of the Desmo season and time inbetween to visit the next circuit. Some are easier to learn than others - I remember the first time I did Oulton, hilarious coming over the hill and rolling off the throttle not knowing what's on the other side.

There are a couple of explanations of laps on this site if you do a search, I know I did one and I think Weeksy did one as well.
