I used to use foam grips but found them too thick and my hands used to ache after too long. However, a profiled grip like Shazaams looks to be a much better idea.
At present I'm still using the old Gallina 'Superbike' type grip.
And a 15 year old can of 'Supersilk' hair lacqure
