| Seems like a reasonably sensible fine for doing 130 on a DC. Doesn't really matter if it's two weeks or two months, you'll think twice about doing it again.
As usual, the real problem is that the circumstances (time/traffic/vehicle) weren't taken into account, just his excuses for future commitments. It's pretty evident that, for example, 130mph in Scooby WRX at 5am on the M40 is far safer than 35mph on a 20yr old C90 outside a school at 4pm. Shame the magistrates don't think so!
