| stick my neck into the fray...not a big NH fan either, but i really hope he does it - he may not be the MOST charismatic - IMO only bayliss, edwards and rossi have characters that come across - sure xaus,haga, chili too but not always evident - what about a hodgson/toseland comparison??
Hodgson has had a pretty rough ride - that early works ride with ducati probably did more damage than good / rebuilt his career and reputation - and the guy has stuck to it and worked, really worked hard to get where he is - i admire that. So would love it if he won AMA, but i think he has a huge challenge and a bit of a gamble if it all goes wrong - he threw the dice so lets see how he does. |
