There's a lot of technical wizardry in it compared to the System 3. Reliability is apparently very good to. They've had it immersed in water and it still works
One really neat idea with it comes as a PIR for your garage/shed/kitchen (?) that you can code to the bike. Someone opens the door, and the bike alarm goes off. It'll also run door and window contacts. Costs about £50 extra but it's a pretty cheap garage alarm and stops the scum actually getting to the bike before the alarm goes off.
It also has the key integrated into the fob ala Meta, but the S4 will also handle coded keys (like your 749) which as far as I know, is a first to. |
