| I'd heard that Hideout and BKS get their leather from the same source (yes, I know, cows...), and their construction is very similar so there's probably an element of paying for the BKS name (although they're undoubtedly very good). I think one or both of them offer kangaroo skin, which is supposed to be much lighter in weight for the same strength.
