I am replacing my exaust system after removing it to clean the bike properly over the winter months [ polished up] the haynes manual says to use exhaust gasket gunge [light smeer] to the connections.There was no gunk on there when i removed it all and i remember useing the stuff on a car a while ago and when it came to removeal it made it a bitch of a job.I dont want to bolt it all together only to sound like the bass section of a brass band....use it or not advise please
