This goes back a bit so hopefully you’re sorted by now. If not I had a similar issue on a 1983 FJ1100 Yamaha which turned out to be a fuel pipe. When hot it kinked and prevented fuel flowing but stiffened up again as it cooled. Maybe worth a look.
