I just bought a 98 916 biposto, after a 10 minute ride I had to have it.
I see that some people say the 996 is far better, I know that the motorcycling world can be just as full of b*** s***ters as any walk of life so I wondered what the truth was, yes I realise the 916 will be down on power but surely the handling will be the same and this is where the Ducati 's excell..............isn't it.
