Been having a bit of a bad run of luck recently,kids in hospital,parents passing on etc.
When I thought it couldn`t get any worse,the gas board came round yesterday to fit a new meter(every fifteen years apparently)and discovered we had a leak(never smelt gas thou)the leak was bad enough for them to cut me off there and then
Couldn`t trace the leak,only got a cooker and a boiler and they were both ok
My worst fears came true,the pipes under the concrete floor from when the house was built were almost definetly the cause
So a quick call to me mate Tantrum(Numptystrada pilot)he surveyed the problem and by tea-time tonight he had got one of his guys round and a whole new gas line had been fitted from the meter to the boiler and cooker
