| KB, so far as I know, you can only use a web-based email service with a browser (eg. Internet Explorer). Outlook/Express won't work with it.
Is your previous dial-up account a freebie one like Waitrose.com? Although I have broadband, I still have my Waitrose email address, it's free and I can use Outlook. Works for me.
Otherwise, you could search the Web for free email accounts, must be loads out there.
