An unprecedented weekend of sunset racing at Portimao for the seventh round of the 2014 WorldSBK season There is much anticipation for the Pirelli Portuguese Round, which will begin tomorrow at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
The weekend programme will be unprecedented, with all on-track activities postponed by a few hours to cope with the high temperatures that will characterise the three days at Portimao.
The first free practice sessions will start tomorrow at 1.15 pm (2.15 pm CEST), while Saturday's programme includes Superpole at 2.15 pm (3.45 pm CEST) and Race-1 at 6 pm (7 pm CEST).
Sunday's Superpole Race will start at 2.45 pm (3.45 pm CEST), with Race 2 at the same time as Saturday.
Nicoḷ Bulega arrives in Portimao in second place in the Superbike World Championship standings with 239 points, 64 less than leader Razgatlioglu (BMW).
Third place in the standings for Alvaro Bautista with 199 points.

WorldSSP It's also an exciting round for the World Supersport Championship, which will run Race-1 and Race-2 (5.30 pm CEST) before the Superbike category for the first time this season. Adrian Huertas and the Ducati Panigale V2 of the Aruba.it Racing WSSP team lead the standings with a 46-point advantage over Montella (Ducati).
