Absolutley you can jobr but once you've told BT you want them to be your provider then no-one else can do it for that number until BT release it. revdecal, you need to cancel your order with BT for them to release it, it will still take a few days (read 3 months) for that to happen and then you can get a new provider to deliver the service, through the BT line, and BT switch .... It may or may not help you but I use cable and this is one of the reasons why, also contention ratio's are generally better on cable than ADSL. If you're in industrial premises this won't help you at all but if you're on a high street or something then you may be able to get a business package with Telewest or NTL cable or similar - might be worth a look. I've never checked to see if they do business packages. |
