| I don't know exactly when the justice system in this country went haywire, but I just can't comprehend this kinda behaviour - much less this kinda sentencing.
Some years ago a drunk drove into a biker on a flyover down this way - he took his leg clean off. According to witnesses, the drunk got out of his car walked over to the biker, who was lying bleeding (to death, as it turned out) on the road, and gave him a right telling off. Then he picked up the severed leg, threw it off the flyover and drove away.
Can't remember the punishment, but I don't believe it was a prison sentence. |
