| Ally Radiators
I am about to see if I can successfully conver a 996 ally rad to fit the 888. It'll need a neck welding in and a mod to the lower water exit pipe. It'll also mean relocating the fan to the opposite side.
Why bother? 888 rads are rear S/H, new ones are >£800. 9xx rads are £50 used so I think the math makes sense alone.
Anyone else interested if it works well?

PS. I have just put Samco silicon hoses on the bike so I have a full set of standard hoses, the majority of which have only been on the bike six months. Any takers for £25 plus P&P? That's the price of the top hose alone BTW. |
