Sorry, you're right of course. The clutch turns once for every two revolutions of the flywheel so it stores four times less kinetic energy (I x omega-squared) given the roughly same diameters, pound-for-pound. Thanks.

Mike, do you have a link that shows this home-grown 48-tooth clutch?
