| Its the Active Rider system with extra headset and extension lead for the passenger. Came to £165 (on a special offer with a coupon in Ride mag). Saturday was the first time we had used it but we didnt talk the whole time! Its going to come into its own when we go away i think, it'll save having to stop each time we need to confer about the route or which hotel or loo breaks etc.
Its so good i honestly didnt realise Lynns voice was coming through the headset ( and thats with my ear plugs in!!). I dont plan to have music plugged in, i think that would be a bit distracting for me and i wouldnt be able to turn it off if i needed to concentrate.
Its not that difficult to fit the speakers and mics to our helmets either and once i'd adjusted the position of the speakers i cant tell they are there. |
