After I got home from work today I was already to swap the float bowls for a set that haven't got the Banjos, but after removing thenm from the carbs and seeing that the space inside was still occupied by the casting for a oil-way I decided to leave the oil fed float bowls in place. I removed the banjos and link pipes and have joine the crankcase oil feed pipe to the return pipe using the on off tap for now.
I haven't yet heard this engine running so I have gone for the simple solution that will stop oil spewing over the floor when I eventually get the bike ready to fire up whenever that may be. |
