| A bike shop just round the corner from work is converting a brand new US-spec fireblade for the UK. The customer paid the same in dollars as it costs in pounds here.
Don't know whether you would have to pay VAT or import duty but the prep costs can't be that much (worst case you need a new headlight, best case a couple of reflectors).
