| You mentioned about the MOT .. can't imagine it would be an issue, their schedule will state that the indicator should work, not that it is not aloowed to have a self tapping screw in it. Tell him it's a custom feature, like the bits of tools etc that the chop builders use for footpegs etc! If that fails to impress, tell him it was intended as an improvement because your mod is stronger than the original plastic bit?
