Louigi does those Talon chains and they are the dogs! Didn't he try to sell you one?

Got one on my bike, and it's had a hard life, used in all weathers, and it's at the age where I'd be replacing other chains, yet it's as sweet as anything, and first-to-second changes are absolutely smooth, without the slightest "clunk". One of them and a quick-release sprocket carrier (if you haven't got one already), and you're sorted.
Glad you got sorted out, anyway. I spoke to him briefly on the phone on Sat am, and I said, "Did that guy come down from Cornwall?", and he said he was working on your bike at the time.
