| Has the coil issue been sorted for 2005 bikes? I have a 2005 999 and the front plug/coil looks very exposed to spray off the front wheel. I do a bit of foreign touring and don't really want the bike to let me down in the middle of the Swiss Alps.
Is the issue water getting into the coil, or just a faulty design/batch? If it is water, is there anyway of sealing it up other than spraying WD40 around the front cylinder head?
Any advice on how to avoid failures welcome !!
