Ditto.

And the R1 just came in first in the last comparo with all the 1000cc 4 inlines.

But wasn't that against the old K4 ??? :P

And wasn't that the one that won BSB, World Endurance racing, AMA, and also most Club racing... ??

It may be fugly but who will notice what it looks like when it passes Duke riders broken down in the hard shoulder...

I am still going to keep the 999r because of what it is, but the K5 will annihilate it...

I think I may have to put the missus on E bay though !

Nope, i'm talking about the K5.
They took the bikes to Spain and went to two tracks there (Almeria and.... another one i can't remember now) and then did a street test.
The R1 came first as the best overall 1000cc.
On the track tests the R1 did better than i was expecting while the K5 was "worst" than i was expecting (i thought it would win hands down and not only it didn't, but it didn't even win at all), since the ZX-10 and the R1 won it and even the MV did some pretty fast times too.

As for the previous gixxer records.... no doubt it's been a winning race bike in many classes, but what's funny is that just 2 weeks ago in the National Superstock class here the K5 were beaten by a CBR1000RR while the year before the K4's won the Championship.

Anyway.... get the K5 and in a year you'll be be regreting it :P

What mag was that There have not been any uk group tests on K5 yet.... Its that fast they cant catch one

I saw in in "In Moto", it's an Italian mag. It's a BIG test.
A short version of that test also came in a Portuguese mag this month.
