| Petrol in a dieso engine is a nightmare! The diesel acts as a lubricant to the fuel pump so that gets shot almost immediately! If you're really unlucky the petrol pools in the cylinder (no spark to ignite it) and washes the oil off the cylinder wall then mixes in the sump!! Any piston engine run without lubricated bores wont last long and it can only get worse if the petroil mix gets pumped to any hard wearing part crank bearings! Sorry mate but OUCH! I got off light! |
