| I would imagine drilling and bolting up the sides/air deflectors would be fairly straight forward, but without a nosecone what's the point? Most kits I have seen are losely based on the RS kit, thus why this has the RS seat, but the nosecone/sides come as one with a detacheable belly pan.
Problem with the seat unit is the 999's seat bolts to the tank, and to the frame, and the seat unit in turn bolts to the seat pad, the RS seat unit is completely different and bolts direct to the subframe, after an hour or two of cutting one down I realised that it could possibly be done, but wouldn't be that strong etc. |
