Think we have similar can and I have seen you have problems with a plate hanger ..... check out my signature and small pic .... my solution.

As for DB, that's about right. I did a track day were other bikes had race cans on etc. I started mine up in the pit's and was stopped before I got on to the track
Still sounds good on the road though
